Parent FAQs
Questions parents ask us
Straight answers about how Success GO works, what it costs and how we look after your child.
Getting started
What is Success GO?
Success GO is a self-paced learning platform by Success Tutoring. Your child enters The Adventure Academy, where friendly teacher characters guide them through curriculum lessons using short videos, guided practice, adventure activities and mastery checks. You follow their progress from your own parent dashboard.
Which year levels does Success GO cover?
Success GO is starting with Year 3. Year 3 Mathematics is the first pathway, with English in production. Other year levels and subjects are planned for later and are not available yet.
How do I get started?
Register as a parent, create a profile for your child (a nickname and year level are all we need), and your child can enter the academy with their own simple sign-in. You stay in control from the parent dashboard.
Does my child need their own email address?
No. Children never need an email address. You create their profile, and they sign in with a username and a short PIN that you manage.
Learning
How does my child move from one lesson to the next?
Every lesson follows the same loop: Watch, Learn, Play, Master, Celebrate. The next lesson unlocks only after your child completes the guided practice and scores 80% or more on the mastery check. Watching a video on its own never unlocks anything.
What happens if my child doesn't pass a mastery check?
Nothing is lost. They see a fresh explanation of the idea and can try again with a new mix of questions (at least 3 they did not see last time), so a retry checks understanding rather than memory. If a pattern of difficulty appears, the topic is gently flagged on your dashboard so you know where to help.
What are learning points and academy levels?
Your child earns learning points for correct answers, persistence, finishing activities, mastering lessons and beating their own best. Points build towards academy levels, from New Explorer to Master Explorer. Points are never given for logging in, watching or time on screen, and they can never be bought or lost.
How much time should my child spend on Success GO?
Short, focused sessions work best. Success GO suggests a gentle break after 25 minutes of active learning by default, and you can change this from your parent settings.
Curriculum
Is Success GO aligned to the Australian Curriculum?
Our Year 3 scope and sequence is planned around the Australian Curriculum (version 9.0). Each outcome is being verified by Success Tutoring HQ against ACARA's official content descriptions, and we do not describe the curriculum as complete until it has been independently checked and signed off. Our curriculum coverage page shows the current status honestly.
We live in NSW or Victoria. Will Success GO match my child's school?
NSW and Victoria publish their own syllabus and curriculum documents based on the Australian Curriculum, so the content is closely related but organised differently. We are working through how our lessons map to each, and will publish that mapping once it is confirmed.
Pricing
How much does Success GO cost?
The proposed launch price is $49.99 AUD per child per month, GST inclusive. This price is pending final approval and may change before launch. You can cancel at any time.
Is live tutoring included?
No. A Success GO subscription includes the self-paced lessons, the parent dashboard and Success World Homework practice. Live tutoring with Success Tutoring (online or at a centre) is a separate service, available separately.
Will I be charged automatically if I add another child?
No. Each child is a separate seat, and we never add a paid seat without your explicit confirmation of the extra monthly charge.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your parent dashboard. Your child keeps access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Safety and privacy
Is Success GO safe for my child?
Success GO is designed for children from the ground up: there are no advertisements, no chat between children, no public leaderboards and no loot boxes or random rewards. Avatar items are earned through learning, never bought. Purchases are made only by parents.
What information do you collect about my child?
Only what is needed to teach: a nickname, their year level and their learning evidence (answers, mastery checks and progress). We do not collect a child's email address and we do not use children's data for advertising. You can delete your child's profile from your parent settings.
